First impressions are lasting. And in Bert's case, that's a good thing! Because when you first meet Bert you are immediately absorbed with his sincerity and down-to-earth nature. Once you get to know him, you realize just how accurate your first impression was. Bert joined Verus Bank in 2005. But his banking career began over 16 years ago. He has a broad range of expertise in agriculture, commercial, real estate, and consumer lending. He is a graduate of Kansas State University, as well as several agriculture and commercial lending schools. He has a passion for his kids and the many activities in which they become involved. Bert also knows his quarter horses and, suffice it to say, he goes unchallenged around our office. We call it having "horse sense".
